MatFlex Media Player is not limited to LED screens. The same workstation-based playback approach can be used for digital signage and LCD video walls where content needs to be divided into zones, updated independently or combined with live web content.

Digital signage use cases

Retail stores, corporate lobbies, hospitality areas, showrooms and information screens often need more than one content type on the same display. A screen may show promotional video, a logo area, animated text, a clock and a live web page at the same time.

MatFlex can divide the output into cells and assign different content or timelines to each area, allowing selected sections to be updated without rebuilding the whole screen as one video file.

LCD video wall workflows

For LCD video walls, the workstation can feed one or more display outputs depending on the wall controller and GPU configuration. The final Windows display arrangement becomes the canvas MatFlex works with.

This is useful for control-room walls, presentation spaces, corporate information walls and multi-panel signage installations where some zones may need video while others display dashboards, web pages or static information.

Web content inside the layout

MatFlex supports web-link content inside a playback layout. This can be used for dashboards, browser-based applications, queue pages or published ticker links from MatFlex Ticker.

Hardware remains separate

MatFlex manages the content layer. Video wall processors, LCD controllers, calibration and physical display configuration are separate parts of the system. This keeps the operator workflow focused on content rather than hardware configuration.

See the MatFlex Media Player page for features and workstation guidance.
